What we can work on

Support for anxiety, stress, grief and more

You don't need to have the right words, or know exactly what's wrong. We'll start wherever you are.

Anxiety and overthinking

The anxious thoughts that won't switch off at night, the worry that follows you through the day, or the feeling of being constantly "on".

Stress and overwhelm

When work, family and everything in between feels like too much, and you need space to breathe and find your footing again.

Grief and loss

Losing someone, or something, you love. Grief has no timetable, and you deserve a gentle place to carry it and be heard.

Relationships and people-pleasing

Difficult relationships, family patterns, saying yes when you mean no, and learning to look after your own needs too.

Hard seasons and transitions

A change you didn't choose, a crossroads, or a season that has left you tired and unsure of your next step.

Low confidence and harsh self-talk

The inner voice that says you're not enough – and how to begin speaking to yourself with more kindness.

Supportive Sessions

How supportive sessions with me work

Each session is 50 minutes, warm, unhurried and judgement-free. I'll listen, help you make sense of what's going on, and gently explore your options and next steps with you – at a pace that feels right.

I draw on seven years as a Lifeline-trained crisis counsellor, more than 10 years as a hypnotherapist, and the final term of my Bachelor of Social Science in Counselling & Psychology at SACAP (completing December 2026). I also know loss, family addiction and recovery from the inside, so you won't need to explain or defend your story.

Supportive Sessions offer coaching-based psychosocial support for everyday wellbeing and life challenges. They are not therapy, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric care. If you need more specialised support, I'll tell you honestly and help you find it.

More than talking

When you'd like to go a little deeper

Sometimes talking is exactly what's needed. Other times, people find it helpful to add hypnotherapy for stress, sleep or patterns that feel stuck, or Inner Shift coaching to rebuild confidence and plan the way forward.

You don't need to decide now. On the free 15-minute discovery call, we'll talk about what you're looking for and choose together – with no pressure and no obligation.

Questions

Supportive session questions

Where are in-person sessions held?

In-person sessions are in the Helderberg, in the Somerset West and Strand area, by appointment. The address is shared when you book. If you're in Stellenbosch or Cape Town, you're welcome to come in person or to choose online sessions instead.

What can I talk about in a supportive session?

Anything that's weighing on you – anxiety and overthinking, stress, grief and loss, a difficult relationship, people-pleasing, a hard season or simply feeling overwhelmed. You decide what we focus on, and you only share what you're comfortable sharing.

How much does a supportive session cost?

A 50-minute Supportive Session is R690. You can also book a package: 3 sessions for R1,860 (valid 8 weeks) or 5 sessions for R2,930 (valid 12 weeks). Payment is by cash or EFT, and a 50% deposit secures your spot. The 15-minute discovery call is free.

What's the difference between supportive sessions and coaching?

Supportive sessions give you a safe, confidential space to talk things through, be heard and find your next steps. Coaching is more focused on where you want to go next and the practical steps to get there. Many people move between the two, and we can decide together on the free discovery call.

Are supportive sessions suitable if I am in crisis?

I can't offer emergency support. If you're in crisis or feel unsafe, please call Lifeline SA on 0861 322 322 (24 hours), SADAG on 0800 567 567, or 112 from a cellphone. Supportive sessions are coaching-based psychosocial support for everyday wellbeing and life challenges – not therapy, diagnosis or treatment, and not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
