A relaxed phone or video chat to tell me a little about what's going on, ask any questions and see whether we're a good fit. No cost and no obligation.
A safe, confidential space to talk things through, be heard and find your next steps – whether it's a difficult relationship, a hard season, a loss or simply feeling overwhelmed. This is warm, coaching-based psychosocial support. Drawing on seven years of Lifeline crisis counselling and my final-year studies in Counselling & Psychology at SACAP, I'll listen without judgement and help you explore your options and strengthen your wellbeing.

Supportive Sessions offer coaching-based psychosocial support for everyday wellbeing and life challenges. They are not therapy, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for psychological or psychiatric care. If you need more specialised support, I'll help you find it.
Hypnotherapy uses a calm, focused, deeply relaxed state – similar to being completely absorbed in a book, a piece of music or a beautiful view – to help you work on the things you'd like to change. You remain aware and in control the whole time, you can speak and you can stop whenever you like. Nothing happens without your consent.
People often come to hypnotherapy for help with:
Your first session is longer so we have time to get to know each other and understand what you'd like to work on. Read more about hypnotherapy in the Helderberg, Cape Town and online.
Hypnotherapy is a complementary approach. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, and results vary from person to person.
A focused, compassionate coaching session to get clear on where you are, release what's holding you back and leave with practical next steps. Ideal for ongoing support, accountability and steady progress between bigger decisions. Read more about life coaching.
My signature session. A spacious 90 minutes of focused, personal coaching for when you're at a crossroads, feeling stuck or ready for a new season.

Your first session
Unhurried, warm and at your pace – here's how it usually unfolds.
Good to know before you book:
We'll start by settling in – no rush, no pressure.
I'll ask about what's brought you here, what you'd like to be different, and any relevant background (including any medical or mental-health support you're currently receiving). You share only what you're comfortable sharing.
We'll talk about how you'd like your sessions to feel – including anything that's important to you to bring into our time together.
For hypnotherapy, I'll explain exactly what will happen before we begin, then guide you into a calm, relaxed state. For coaching or Supportive Sessions, we'll explore and clarify what's going on and where you'd like to go.
We'll close with a short reflection and agree on practical next steps or something to practise at home.
If you'd like to continue, we'll decide together how many sessions might be helpful. There's never pressure to book more.
Questions
It's a relaxed phone or video chat. You tell me a little about what's going on (only what you're comfortable sharing), ask anything you'd like to know – how sessions work, what hypnotherapy feels like, prices, online or in person – and we decide together whether, and how, to continue. There's no cost, no pressure and no obligation to book.
As a rough guide: Supportive Sessions if you'd like to talk things through and feel heard; Inner Shift Coaching if you want clarity, confidence and a clear next step (or Premium for a spacious 90 minutes at a crossroads); and hypnotherapy if your mind won't switch off, or for stress, sleep, confidence or a habit you'd like to change. If you're not sure, that's exactly what the free 15-minute call is for – we'll choose together.
Hypnotherapy uses a calm, focused, deeply relaxed state – similar to being completely absorbed in a book, a piece of music or a beautiful view – to help you work on the things you'd like to change, such as stress, sleep, confidence and unhelpful habits. You remain aware and in control the whole time, and nothing happens without your consent.

Both – I work in the Helderberg, Cape Town and online. In-person sessions are in the Helderberg, by appointment – the address is shared when you book. Online sessions are by Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video, anywhere in South Africa or the world.
Hypnotherapy is a natural, relaxed and focused state. You stay aware, you can hear everything, you can speak and you can open your eyes and stop at any time. No one can make you do anything against your will or your values. It's nothing like stage hypnosis.
It's a question I'm asked often, and I understand why. In my sessions, nothing happens without your knowledge and consent, and you remain fully in control. Faith and spirituality are welcome in our sessions, whatever your beliefs – and if you'd rather keep them separate, that's completely respected too. I'm always happy to talk through any concerns on a free discovery call.

It depends on you and what you'd like to work on. Some people find one or two sessions helpful; others prefer to work together over a few months. We'll discuss this together, and you're never locked in.
Many people find online sessions just as effective and more convenient – you're relaxed in your own space and there's no travel. You'll need a quiet, private room, a stable internet connection and headphones.
I am an Inner Shift coach, hypnotherapist (10+ years) and psychosocial support practitioner with seven years of Lifeline crisis counselling experience, and I'm in the final term of my BSocSci in Counselling & Psychology at SACAP, completing in December 2026. My services are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, and if I believe you need specialised support, I'll tell you and help you find it.
Yes. What you share is kept private and handled in line with POPIA and my Privacy Policy. The only exception is if I believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, in which case I may need to contact emergency services or an appropriate person to keep everyone safe. I'll always explain this before we begin.
My sessions are not claimable from medical aid. I'm happy to provide a receipt on request.
